2020 Leo Award Win

Christopher has won the Leo Award for his music for the Discovery series “Highway thru Hell” in the category “Best Score: Documentary Series”.

Upcoming Performances

The Lionsgate Sinfonia will be performing Christopher’s Kyrie for Strings on March 7th @7:30pm at the Centennial Theatre in North Vancouver.


N.E.O Sound will be performing Toccata for Woodwind Quintet on March 21st 2020 at the Akron Public Library Main Auditorium, and again at the 20th Annual Akron New Music Festival on Friday April 3rd at 5:30 pm in the Guzzetta Recital Hall at the University of Akron.


Christopher’s Concerto for Oboe (wind ensemble version) will be performed at the University of Washington with the Seattle Symphony’s principal oboist Mary Lynch as soloist, and Timothy Salzman conducting the University of Washington Wind Ensemble. The concert takes place Thursday May 28th at Meany Hall in the Katharyn Alvord Gerlich Theater.

New CD released by Centrediscs

Some exciting news… my latest album “Music for Woodwind Choirs” has been released by Centrediscs! This album features my “Suite for Two Oboes and Two English Horns” as well as “Symphony for Flute Choir”. I’m so proud to have recorded this album right here in Vancouver with some of the finest musicians around, all conducted by Maestro Clyde Mitchell.
